Welcome to Mara's Belly Dance Home Page!
Mara is a belly dancer and
belly dance instructor residing in Orange County, CA. She has studied under Cyriana,
Medea, Aleia, Fahteim and Ansuya. Mara integrates Egyptian, Armenian, Turkish and
Cabaret styles of dance with a modern flair to create her own unique performing
style. She is skilled with finger cymbals, rectangular veils, semi-circular veils, scimitar,
cane and candelabra and performs outstanding drum solos and floor work.
Mara performs at Middle Eastern restaurants and clubs throughout Southern California and a
variety of Middle Eastern venues such as Cairo Carnivale, Rakkasah, Market at the Casbah,
and Bedouin Bazaar. Her performances have been broadcast on both local and
international television.
Mara is available for private parties, receptions, banquets, clubs, wedding and restaurant
entertainment (sorry, no bachelor parties please). Mara is also available for dance lessons. Email Mara now to book her for your special event
